About this support

Home Care Packages (HCP) are government-funded packages that help older Australians live independently at home for longer. The program provides a coordinated set of care services tailored to your individual needs — from help with daily tasks through to complex nursing and care support.

We manage your package with transparency and flexibility, so you stay in control of your care and how your funding is used.

Package levels

  • Level 1: Basic care needs — light assistance with daily tasks and social support.
  • Level 2: Low-level care needs — a broader range of supports for day-to-day living.
  • Level 3: Intermediate care needs — regular support including personal care and allied health.
  • Level 4: High-level care needs — intensive, coordinated support for complex or high needs.

Services we provide under HCP

  • Domestic assistance — cleaning, laundry, and household tasks
  • Personal care — showering, grooming, and dressing
  • Social support and companionship
  • Transport to appointments, shopping, and activities
  • Meal preparation and nutritional support
  • Care coordination and case management
